Information About Making Appointments
Appointments can be made by calling 07 3480 0111.
Strathpine GP Superclinic runs on an appointment system; however we do keep openings for emergencies. You can make an appointment with the doctor of your choice by telephone, email, or our appointment app (coming soon). Urgent medical problems will be dealt with promptly.
Appointments are made at 10 minute intervals. When making your appointment, please advise staff if it is of an urgent nature or if you require extra time.
Nobody likes to be kept waiting and we are all aware of this and try to adhere to appointment schedules. However, due to the unpredictable nature of general practice, Doctors sometimes run behind time. This is normally due to a patient requiring urgent medical attention.
You can also help us to keep on time by having one appointment for each person that needs to be seen by the Doctor and also advising us if you feel you need more time. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused to patients when we fall behind with our appointment schedule.
If you cannot attend your appointment or you are running late, we would appreciate a phone call. Please refer to our Non-Attendance and Cancellation Policy.
For new patients, please bring with you your Medicare cards, Pension or Health Care Card. It would also be appreciated if you can arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment so forms can be completed.
As a complimentary service, Strathpine GP Superclinic provides courtesy SMS text reminders for appointments. If you wish to receive these text messages, please inform Reception Staff. Please be advised that while this is a complimentary service, patients are responsible for remembering their appointment times. An appointment card can also be issued to you.
