A health assessment is a longer, structured appointment where your GP and practice nurse take a thorough look at your health, identify risks early, and put a plan in place before small problems become big ones.

Medicare covers specific health assessments for eligible patients, including a heart health and general check for people aged 45 to 49 who are at risk of developing a chronic condition, and an annual health assessment for people aged 75 and over. Our team can tell you whether you qualify when you book.
