4Cyte Pathology is located within Strathpine GP Superclinic at 11/328 Gympie Road, Strathpine, so you can have your blood tests and other pathology collected in the same building as your GP appointment.

Pathology tests covered by Medicare are fully bulk billed, so for most tests there is nothing to pay. No booking is required. Simply walk in with your referral form, whether it is from our doctors or another practice.

The collection rooms are open Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 5.00pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 7.00am to 11.00am. Early morning opening makes fasting tests easier, and being open on weekends means you do not need to take time off work.

Having pathology on site supports the rest of your care, including:

• Blood tests for check-ups and health assessments

• Monitoring for diabetes, cholesterol and other chronic conditions

• Pregnancy and antenatal testing

• Pre-treatment tests such as those needed before an iron infusion

Your results are sent directly to your referring doctor. If our GPs ordered your tests, book a follow-up appointment to discuss the results.
